Season 2007/08 (20/05/08)

It just keeps getting better.

The club added 2 League titles to their honours and also a Cup during the regular season.

A new team was launched the Under 9's and they will be raring to go next season when they enter a league for the first time.

The Under 11's had a great season with a league and cup double.

The U13 Fenland team put in some tremendous performances during the season and finished mid table but accumulated more than double their points tally in the previous season.

The U13 Mid Lincs team retained their league title but the elusive cup win failed to materialise again.

The U15's had a difficult season playing many games short of players but those who played can be very proud of their achievements.

Overall another sucessful season and for a more detailed look at each team then look at their individual pages in Season Archive.

Season 2006/07 (22/05/08)

Another great season was had by all the teams with the club taking their first league title.

The U10's in their first season done fantastic in getting runners up in their league following a nail biting playoff against Posh girls.
The U12 Fenland team found it tough going in their first season but despite their league position they showed us that when they get it together they can play some excellent football. With a little bit more consistancy they will give all teams a run for their money next year.
The U12 Mid Lincs team achieved the clubs first league trophy by becoming Champions. It was so nearly a double but for a narrow defeat in the Cup Final to Grimsby. Thats runners up 2 years running in the cup so lets hope its third time lucky!
The U14's had their first season of 11 a side football and they adapted well. They ended up third and really should have been 2nd if they had performed in a couple of the games against Long Bennington. A little more consistancy from them and again they could be challenging next year.
The U16's had a tough season playing in an age group a year above them. Most players could have played U15 if there was a league. Despite a few problems mid season the girls pulled up their socks and put it some good performances without much reward. It was great to see them pull together and work as a team.

In addition to the league and cup performances we entered all teams in the Midlands round of The Footie Chick Cup in Derby. 4 teams qualified for the national finals in Manchester where the likes of Everton, West Ham, Sheffield Utd, Man City, Reading were the opponenents in the various age groups. The U12 Mid Lincs and U14's made a trip to Blackpool for a weekend tournament where the U12's came runners up in the plate competition.

So overall I think we can say a good season and look forward to next year with great anticipation.

Season 2005/06 (23/05/08)

Our first real season with two teams being entered into the Mid Lincs league at Under 11 and Under 13 levels. We did nt know what to expect as all the teams we were playing were new to us. Despite a slow start the Under 11's ended up as runners up in the cup and league only being defeated by Retford who were the winners of both. The Under 13's came third in their league and came up against the best team in the cup during the rounds. The season ended with the Under 11's winning the tournament at Skegness and a fantastic weekend in Blackpool which saw the Under 13's coming runners up in their competetion.

Season 2004/05 (24/05/08)

2 teams played in a friendly league for recently formed teams. One at Under 11's and one at Under 13's. It was a great learning experience for the players and the club with the Under 11's coming runners up.

How The Club Was Formed (25/05/08)

It all started with an out of school Football Course for Girls in October 2004. Once the course had finished the girls wanted to carry on playing football and Keith and Mark decided to carry things on. This lead to an Open Day held at Deeping Leisure Centre when over 60 girls turned up wanting to play football. A mind blowing response!. With that Deeping Diamonds was formed.
