What a horrible way to lose a game.  It was strange going into a final as underdogs but it didn't show and when we took an early lead through one of Sasha's specialities you would never have known we weren't the favourites.  We played tremendously well during the first half and deserved to go in by at least 3 goals.  Lincoln came out strong in the second half and showed us why they just pipped us to the league and finally forced an equaliser.  We did everything we could to score but the ball would not go in the net and the next thing we knew it was extra time. 

We really took a hold in the extra time but again the ball wouldn't go in and penalties loomed.

Big thanks to the girls who volunteered to take one and Emma for her valiant efforts to try and keep Lincoln out but it wasn't to be.  All girls can hold their heads up high after a tremendous team performance.  Finally well done to Sasha on her Player of the Match award, what a first season playing competitive football she has had.
