ABOUT THE CLUB
 

Deeping Diamonds have Girls Football Teams playing in the Mid Lincs, Fenland & District, Cambs S Tech and Lincs Intermediate leagues.

For the 2009-10 season we plan to run the following age groups Under 11, Under 13 (2 teams), Under 15 and Under 18.

We have places available across all age groups and should you be interested in playing for Deeping Diamonds then please get in touch.

The club started in 2004 with just 15 players and now has in excess of 80 girls playing football on a regular basis.

Awarded the FA Charter Standard Club Status May 2006.



 
Would moving kids' football to a summer game help improve the development of young footballers?
Yes - better pitches mean a better chance to develop technique/skills
No - wouldn't make any real difference to development
Maybe - but I'd be worried about more injuries on firm pitches
